Updated November 2, 2026. Write Around the Corner is a prototype for personal creative writing.
You retain ownership of your writing. Keep a separate copy of work you want to preserve. You can write before signing in, but saving new writing to Atlas requires an account and an acknowledged cloud save. A completed guest piece has a temporary browser recovery copy while signup is pending, when browser storage is available. It is cleared on save or discard. Only the latest finished guest piece carries through signup; older browser writing stays local. The app does not guarantee recovery of unfinished writing, failed saves, or all forms of storage loss.
Use of the app's Google Maps features is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Place information and photos are supplied by Google and their respective contributors. Their attributions remain attached to the displayed content.
A selected place provides creative context. It does not establish that you are there or grant permission to enter a property. Sample reader's notes are creative suggestions rather than an assessment of your writing.
